The components of the favorable family model and the quality of the efficiency enhancement of this important institution in the community are fundamental questions that are addressed both in Greek and Islamic practical wisdom and in today's sociology. Ibn Sina is one of the most influential and influential Islamic philosophers who has dealt extensively with family and home affairs. Anthony Giddens, on the other hand, is a contemporary sociologist who has explicitly theorized the ideal family pattern. Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to compare the views of the two thinkers on the desirable family pattern and to clarify the differences between the two in terms of both the principles and the model components. The research method is documentary and analytical. The present study explains the family model in three axes of family structure and type, family functions, and role relationships in Ibn Sina's view, and then deals with Giddens's controversy over this model using democratic family theory and her pure relationship. Marriage and divorce patterns, power-building in the family, gender-role relationships, and child-rearing logic are important discussions of Ebensina and Giddens about the family pattern.
